Bernice Lee Wilson

Bernice Lee Wilson, 69, of Lillington, passed away, Monday, June 17, 2024 at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill, NC. Bernice was born July 17, 1954 in Harnett County to the late Henry and Beulah Worrell Wilson. He worked as a plumber most of his life and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Lillington.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Hollingsworth Wilson; and brother, Glenn Wilson. Bernice is survived by his sisters, Debra Wilson, and Margaret McKinney and husband, Phil; and brother, Rayford Wilson.

A funeral service will be held 11am Friday, June 21, 2024 at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 1310 S. Main St., Lillington, NC 27546 with Rev. James Taylor officiating. Burial will follow the service at Erwin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 10am – 11am prior to the service at the funeral home.
