Barbara Jean Pryor

Barbara Jean Pryor, age 87, of Buies Creek passed away peacefully Friday, November 15, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Joseph F. Noah and Sadie Teasley Noah. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Husband R.L. Pryor, six sisters and four brothers.

After working on the family farm, she then later went to work at the Mail room at Campbell University. Barbara was a good cook and loved growing her own tomatoes. She loved her family very dearly and she was a faithful member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Angier.

Barbara is survived by her son: Ronnie Pryor and wife Beth Pryor, grandchildren Christina Worthington and husband Jeremy, and Michelle Pryor; great grandchildren Spencer and Hudson Worthington; her son Rusty Pryor and wife Vivian Pryor; grandchildren: Dylan Pryor and wife Cassie, Lauren Pryor, Jamey Gilbert, Julia Galvan and husband Andre; great grandchildren, AJ Galvan, Keygan Gilbert, Lori Pryor, and Dominic Pryor.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 1:45 PM Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel. Burial will follow at Pleasant Union Christian Church Cemetery.
