Anna Martin Yonk

Mrs. Anna Martin Yonk, 40, of Coats passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington. She was born in Ashtabula, OH, the daughter of the late Thomas W. Martin and Nancy M. Montville Martin. In addition to her father, Anna was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Paul and Anna Martin, and maternal grandparents, Melva and Anthony Montville.

Anna loved to cook, bake and the beach. She was a devout fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Anna loved Crackers and Miles, her rescue dogs. She enjoyed writing poems, short stories and journaling. Anna especially enjoyed movies starring Channing Tatum.

Anna is survived by her husband, Zach Yonk of the home; mother, Nancy Martin of Ashtabula Co., OH; brother, Tom Martin, Jr. (Kimberly) of Ashtabula Co., OH; sister, Melissa Ann Lane of Naples, FL, Vida L. Martin of Ashtabula Co., OH; nieces, Delaney and Autumn Martin of Ashtabula Co., OH, Juliette and Brooklyn Lane both of Naples, FL; nephew, Braden Lane of Naples, FL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Michael and Susan Yonk of Apex, NC; brothers-in-law, Nathan Yonk of Apex, NC and Simon Yonk of Clayton, NC; best friend, Vanessa Spicer of Portage Co., OH.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 PM Saturday, September 28, 2024 at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home & Crematory in Lillington.
