Mrs. Zoner Arnold Taylor, 90, of Buies Creek died peacefully Thursday, March 22, 2018. She was born August 30, 1927, the daughter of the late Tom and Flora Arnold. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Taylor; son, Allen Arnold; several brothers and sisters.

Zoner is survived by her loving son, William "Eddie" Taylor of Buies Creek; 4 granddaughters, Angie Taylor of Benson, Wendy Griffin (Frankie) of Angier, Kimberly Hemphill (Bron) of Conover, Dana Simmons (Chad) of Madison; 2 step-granddaughters, Regina Urtz (Mark) of Clayton, Kim Brewer (Brandon) of Smithfield; 3 great-grandchildren Michael Griffin (Stephanie), Sarah Hemphill, Justin Hemphill and Taylor Simmons; 1 great-great granddaughter Elliana Griffin; brother, Roger Arnold and wife Faye of Lillington.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 25, 2018 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 1310 South Main St., Lillington, NC 27546 with Rev. Stancil Baucom officiating. Burial will follow in Harnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6:00-8:00 PM and other times at the home of Wendy and Frankie Griffin.
