Mr. William Bryant Strickland, Jr., 48, of Bunnlevel passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington. He was born in Lee County, the son of the late William Bryant Strickland, Sr. and Helen Mason Strickland. Bryant loved to fish and make people laugh. He enjoyed spending time with family and playing his game, "Pop."

Memorial service will be 4:00 PM Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Spring Hill United Methodist Church in Lillington with Rev. Terry Williams and Rev. James Gaulden officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday from 2:30-4:00 PM.

Bryant is survived by his sister, Sandra Tigrett and husband Jerry of Bunnlevel, uncle, Frank Mason and wife Lynn of Spring Lake, uncle, Ray Mason and wife Carolyn of Spring Lake, 2 nieces, Nicole Cummings and fiancé Phillip Odom of Cameron, Samantha Layton and husband Donnie of Laurel, DE, nephew, David Cummings and wife Tiffany of Spring Lake, 4 great-nephews and 4 great-nieces.
