Mr. William "Pete" Murrell Russell, age 90, of Burleson, TX, formerly of Lillington, NC and Ardmore, OK, died Friday, May 18, 2012 at his home. He was born in Scotland, Arkansas, the son of the late William Harvey Russell and Mary Ann Francis Phillips Russell. Mr. Russell served in the US Coast Guard as a motor machinist mate second class during WWII. He worked in aircraft manufacturing with Boeing in production control and retired in 1986. Mr. Russell was preceded in death by his first wife, Lottie M. Russell. He married Martha Ellen Emert October 4, 1997.

Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Harnett Memorial Park in Lillington with Rev. Jeff Roberts officiating.

Mr. Russell is survived by his wife, Martha Russell of Burleson, TX; step-son, Paul Emert and wife Helen of Burleson, TX, 2 nephews, Jack Hill of Ardmore, OK, Ron Russell of Tulsa, OK; niece, Dixie Lutz of Berryton, Kansas and a multitude of family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crowley First Baptist Church Building Fund, 400 South Eagle Dr., Crowley, TX 76036.

Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Harnett Memorial Park in Lillington with Rev. Jeff Roberts officiating.
