Mr. William "Bill" O'Quinn, Jr., 77, of Broadway passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at his home.

Bill was born December 9, 1938 in Harnett Co. to the late William O'Quinn, Sr. and Lettye Baker O'Quinn. He was preceded in death by his sister, Bobbie Jean Upchurch.

Bill was a lifetime member of Spring Hill United Methodist Church. He was a member of the church choir and the Trailblazers Men's Quartet. He was the warehouse Manager for Sears for 30 years. After retirement he loved to work in his wood shop and build furniture.

Bill is survived by his wife of 57 years, Magdline O'Quinn of Broadway; 2 children, Beth Holder and husband Mike of Lillington and Mike O'Quinn and wife Tracy of Broadway; 2 sisters, Dorothy Morrison of Lillington and Carolyn Rice of Broadway; grandchildren, William and wife Stacey Holder of Sanford, Dustin and wife Ashley Holder of Lillington, Caleb O'Quinn, Hailey O'Quinn and Kayla Byrd all of Broadway; Great grandchildren, Pace and Dane Holder.

A funeral service will be held 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Spring Hill United Methodist Church with Dr. Jerome Smith Officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the Church.
