Mr. William "Billy" F. Holder, age 74, of Broadway died Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Moses H. Cone Hospital in Greensboro. He was born in Harnett County, the son of the late Ernest William and Mildred Stewart Holder. Mr. Holder retired as rural mail carrier after more than 30 years of service. He also worked as a farmer and enjoyed working as an auctioneer in local churches. Mr. Holder was a lifetime member of Spring Hill United Methodist Church and a dedicated member of Woodmen of the World in Mamers.

Funeral service will be 4:00 PM Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Spring Hill United Methodist Church in Lillington with Rev. Terry Williams and Rev. Houston Blair officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at O'Quinn-Peebles Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 PM and other times at the home of Kimberly and Buck Womack.

He is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Womack and husband Buck of Broadway; daughter, Patricia Bradford and husband Floyd of Snow Camp; son, Forrest Holder and wife Amanda of Greensboro; 4 grandchildren, Kerstine Womack, Tess Womack, Treyton Holder and Turner Holder; sister, Kay Frances Holt and husband Jerry of Sanford and brother, Ernest Wayne Holder of Archdale.Funeral service will be 4:00 PM Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Spring Hill United Methodist Church in Lillington with Rev.
