William "Jerry" Faulkner, Sr., 68, of Lillington passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family.

Jerry was the son of the late William and Della Mae Faulkner. He was preceded in death by a son, Dale Faulkner and a grandson.

The family will receive friends Monday January 7, 2013 at O'Quinn Peebles Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m. And other times at his home.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday January 8, 2013 at Pleasant Union Christian Church with Rev. Cary Snelling and Dr. Penny Ziemer officiating.

The burial will follow at Harnett Memorial Park.

Jerry is survived by his wife Shelby Faulkner, 2 sons, William and his wife Susan Faulkner of Fayetteville, and Michael Faulkner of FL; a daughter, Kimberly Faulkner of Fayetteville; a step-son Kevin Blanchard of Winston-Salem; and a step-daughter, Lori and husband Chad Walker of Clayton; a sister, Alice "Jack" and husband Robert Rich of Hope Mills; 8 grandchildren; 3 nephews, Buddy, Jamie and Keith Rich; 1 niece, Helen Beasley.
