Mr. William "Eddie" Taylor, 75, of Buies Creek died at home Wednesday, May 4, 2022.  He was born May 3, 1947, the son of the late Joe and Zoner Taylor.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Taylor and brother Allen Arnold.

Eddie is survived by daughters Angie Taylor (Anita) of Benson, Wendy Griffin (Frankie) of Angier, Kimberly Hemphill (Bron) of Conover, Dana Simmons (Chad) of Madison; 2 step daughters, Regina Urtz (Mark) of Raleigh, Kimberly Brewer (Brandon) of Smithfield; 9 grandchildren, Michael Griffin (Stephanie), Sarah Hemphill, Justin Hemphill, Taylor Simmons, Emily Urtz, Sophie Urtz, Jason Urtz, Carley Brewer, Nicholas Brewer; 2 great granddaughters Elliana Griffin, Juliana Griffin.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Monday, May 9, 2022 at the O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home & Crematory, Lillington.  Burial will follow at Harnett Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 - 1:45 pm on Monday and other times at the home.
