Mr. William "Bill" Paul Dezso, age 73, of Lillington died Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. A native of Hartford, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Alexander and Pauline Madsen Dezso and was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Allen Dezso and sister Marguerite L. Weick. Mr. Dezso served in the United States Army. He worked as an engineer at Kelly Springfield Tire Company and retired after 28 years of service. Following retirement, he worked at the P.T.O. Thrift Store in Sanford.

Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Antioch Baptist Church in Mamers with Rev. Martin Groover officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Boone Trail EMS, Mamers, NC 27552

Mr. Dezso is survived by his wife of 51 years: Anita Dennis Dezso. Sons: Allen D. Dezso and wife Ronda of Wallace; Dennis P. Dezso of Cibolo, Texas; Jeffrey W. Dezso and wife Angela of Lillington. Sister: Arlene Kobylanski of Connecticut; Brothers: Edwin R. Dezso of Connecticut, Donald D. Dezso of Maryland. 7 grandchildren: Andrew Dezso, Danielle Dezso, Curtis Dezso, William Dezso, James Dezso, Kayle Dezso, Trevor Dezso; Many nieces and nephew whom he loved very much
