Obituary

William "Billy" Ray Creasey, 71, of Harrisburg Pennsylvania, and formerly of Timberville, VA passed away quietly at the home of his daughter Tammy Bowman in Harrisonburg, VA on April 16, 2014.

Mr. Creasey was born in Rockingham Co. on November 22, 1942 to the late Ruby Sellers and Lewis Creasey. He was raised by his grandparents the late Ruben and Pearl Sellers Keezletown. He is also preceded in death by a son, Gerald Creasey. Billy was married to his former wife Faye Wimer on October 19, 1962. He was also preceded in death by his companion of 18 years, Jessie Smith of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Graveside service will be conducted by Rev. David Porter 1:00PM Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Harnett Memorial Park.

He was a Member of Hose Company #4 and worked for IDM trucking for 16 years. Billy was an avid baseball fan and was an umpire for many leagues around the valley.

Mr. Creasey is survived by 2 sons, Calvin Creasey and wife Donna of Broadway VA; Michael Creasey of Harrisonburg VA; 3 daughters, Tonna Miller and husband Ryan of Mt. Crawford VA; Tammy Bowman and husband Bob of Harrisonburg VA; and stepdaughter, Kay Longnecker and husband Bob of Freeport Fl; 2 brothers, Luther Mitchell of Keezletown VA; Charles Mitchell of Weyers Cave VA; Sister, Judy ArnQuist of Suffolk VA; Uncle, Johnny Sellers of Grottoes; 11 Grandchildren and 8 Great-grandchildren


Graveside service will be conducted by Rev. David Porter 1:00PM Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Harnett Memorial Park.
