Mr. William S. Bryant, Jr., 84, of Fuquay-Varina passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Wake County, the son of the late William S. Bryant, Sr. and Thelma Goodwin Bryant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Harold, Lewis, and Callie; sisters, Melba, Kathleen, and Rosa Lee. W.S. loved to fish, golf and ride on his Farmall tractor. He enjoyed working with his son, Chester, for many years.

William is survived by his wife of 66 years, Linda Smith Bryant of the home; daughters, Sandra Weaver and husband Robbie of Fuquay-Varina, Joyce Carroll and husband Ronnie of Fuquay-Varina; son, Chester Bryant and wife Peggy of Fuquay-Varina; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Willie Bryant and wife Eva of Sanford; many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 26, 2022 at Rawls Baptist Church Cemetery in Fuquay-Varina with Pastor Paul Jones officiating. The family will receive friends at the home.
