Lillington

Heaven came down and Jesus took William Christian "Trace" Blackmon, 5 Month old infant home on Thursday, October 2, 2014.

Trace was born April 15, 2014 in Lee Co. to Jessica Suzanne Blackmon. Trace was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather, James David "Jimmy" Brown.

Trace was full of laughs and smiles and could brighten anyone's day. He was full of life and love. His mother adored him, his big sister loved to make him giggle and he was the apple of his GiGi and Papa's eye.

Trace is survived by his mother, Jessica Suzanne Blackmon of Lillington, father, Mario Plummer of Lillington; sister, Juliana Blackmon of Lillington; brother, Ra'Shaun Plummer of Erwin; maternal grandparents, Ricky and LeAnn Blackmon of Lillington; paternal grandfather, Lee Morris Smith of Lillington; paternal grandmother Mamie Jean Plummer of Lillington; maternal great grandmother, Felecia Temple Brown of Lillington; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Lillington Presbyterian Church, with Dr. Bill Goodnight officiating. Burial will follow at Raven Rock Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday, October 6, 2014 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home and other times at the home of Felecia Temple Brown.
