Mrs. Wilda L. Dickens, 81, of Lillington died Friday, January 15, 2010 at E. Carlton Powell Hospice Center in Lillington. She was the daughter of Alvin R. and Margaret Sewell Laubscher and was one of six children. Mrs. Dickens was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, George Dickens.

Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 pm Monday, January 18, 2010 at Woodside United Methodist Church with Rev. Roger Armistead officiating. Burial will be at Antioch Baptist Church Cemtery. The family will recieve friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home, other times at her home.

She is survived by daughters: Vonnie Dickens of Morehead City; Barbara D. Holder and husband James of Mamers; Shirley D. Black of Sanford. Sons: Alvin Dickens and wife Barbara of Broadway; Gene Dickens and wife Diane of Mamers. 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren
