Mr. Wilbert O. Perry, 84, of Bunnlevel passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 at his home. He was born in Springfield, MA, the son of the late William Joseph and Ora McEwen Perry. Wilbert was also preceded in death by his wife, Joan Charlotte Perry; daughter, Jean Perry Horne; a sister and 4 brothers. Wilbert was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked as a designer for Gould and Goodrich until his retirement. Wilbert enjoyed woodworking and watching old movies.  He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Bunnlevel.

Wilbert is survived by his daughter, Debra Perry of the home; son, John Perry of Southbridge, MA; daughter, Linda Lowery and husband James of Lillington; special friend, Elma West of Bunnlevel; son-in-law, Steven Horne of Raeford; 11 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Friendship Baptist Church in Bunnlevel with Rev. Phil Addison and Rev. Dan Deaton officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery in Lillington. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday from 10:00-10:45 AM and other times at the home.
