Mr. Wayne Faircloth, 81, of Lillington passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Universal Healthcare in Lillington. He was born in Harnett County, the son of the late Daniel and Mamie McPhail Faircloth. Wayne was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Faircloth; son, Mark Faircloth; brother, Earl Faircloth and sister, Judy Faircloth. He was a 1956 graduate of Boone Trail High School. Wayne proudly served in the United States Army. He retired from Harnett County after 25 years of service.

Wayne is survived by his daughter, Angie Norris and husband, Johnnie Mack of Fuquay-Varina; daughter-in-law, Ammie Faircloth of Casper, WY; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Setzer, Eric Norris, Chris Adams and Ashley Higgs; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; sister, Betty Yvonne Tysor of Lillington; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 8, 2020 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Chapel with Rev. Pat Chisenhall and Chaplain Randy Beasley officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Angier. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6:00-8:00 PM.
