August 11, 1953 - October 6, 2014
Waylon F. Smith, III, (Dubby), of Fuquay-Varina, passed away on October 6, 2014. He was an employee of Fred Smith, Inc.
Dubby is survived by his daughters, Jordan C. Smith of Fuquay-Varina and Melissa S. Parker of Willow Spring; mother, Julia J. Smith; sister, Nancy S. Winters and husband Denis and several nieces and nephews. Dub was preceded in death by his father, W. F. Smith, Jr.; sisters, Myrtle Rose S. Haege and Debra S. Batten.
A celebration of life will be 11 am Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church, Fuquay -Varina . The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall after the service.
The family would like to thank his many friends who made his life happy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dub's memory to Transitions Life Care, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC. 27607.
