Mr. Wade Knight, 61 of Lillington died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. A native of Harnett County, he was the son of the late Garland and Inez Holley Knight. Wade retired as the Regional Manager for Hansen Sand and Gravel in North Carolina and was owner and operator of Knight Farm.

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012 at Lillington Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Smith officiating. Burial will be in Harnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home, other times at their home.

Mr. Knight is survived by his wife, Denise Rager Knight; Daughter, Leslie Knight (Andy Owens) of Lillington.
