Mrs. Vickie Lee Yunker, 65, of Lillington gained her angel wings Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Adolphus Bradley and Josephine Moore Bradley. In addition to her father, Vickie was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Yunker. Vickie enjoyed nature especially bird watching and flowers. She loved to go fishing and watch NASCAR racing on Sunday afternoon. She also loved spending time with family especially watching her grandchildren play sports. Vickie enjoyed listening to "oldies" and country music.

Vickie is survived by her mother, Josephine Moore Bradley of Dunn; the father of her children, Richard Batten of Sanford; son, Jeffrey Batten and wife Misty of Siler City; daughter, Allison Fox of Lillington; son, Brent Batten and wife Cindy of Dunn; 12 grandchildren, Krystle Batten Raymer, Michael Godwin, Jr., Jessica Batten, Amanda Leigh-Ann Fox, Summer Dobbins Batten, Damion Ray Cobb, Rachel Batten, Hunter Batten, twins, Julie Batten and Fisher Batten, Amellia Joann Cobb and one on the way; 4 great-grandchildren, Eion Godwin, Gemma Womack, Eathen Godwin, Ashlynn Godwin; 2 brothers, Danny and Junior Bradley both of Dunn; sister, Edith Barefoot and husband Gary Ray Barefoot of Dunn; nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Westview Cemetery in Lillington. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.

In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
