Vickie Mann, 64, of Lillington, passed away at Rex Hospital on Thursday, May 21 after an extended illness.

Vickie was a talent extraordinare…she loved to paint, do crafts, loved the outdoors and animals of all types, loved music and to dance, but above all, she loved her family.

She is predeceased by her mother, Helen Altman, whom Vickie loved dearly.

She is survived by her husband of forty-eight years, Garland; daughter Wendy Damon (Don) of Sanford; father, Joe Dickens (Ruth) of Fuquay-Varina; step-father Ken Altman of Smithfield; grand-daughter Hannah Baker; stepbrother Frankie Godwin; Aunts Magalene Hines and Margaret Nixon; Uncle Linwood Lewis; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A graveside service will be held at the Summerville Presbyterian Church Cemetery on Saturday, May 23 at 11:00 AM.  Visitation will follow the service at the home.
