Mrs. Vallie Ann Mason West, 75 of Spring Lake died Sunday, October 20, 2013 at her home. A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Neill and Tabitha Porter Mason. Vallie was preceded in death by her husband, Mack C. West; 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Gourd Spring Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Bowden officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday at O'Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home, other times at her home.

Mrs. West is survived by her sons, Michael West and wife Donna of Spring Lake; Mark West and wife Stella of Spring Lake; Eric West of Durham. Daughter, Judy W. Lynch and husband Clifford of Spring Lake. 8 Grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren. Sister-In-Law, Martha "Dolly" Mason of Mamers.
