Tony Johnson Byrd, 55 of Lillington passed away Friday, November 1, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Mr. Byrd was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Lillington.

Mr. Byrd was preceded in death by his father, Wilbon Johnson Byrd and his step-daughter, Tiffany Lemons.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 P.M. Monday, November 4, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church, Lillington with Pastor Robbie O'Quinn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 P.M. Monday at the church and all other times at the home.

Mr. Byrd is survived by his wife of 12 years, Pansy Byrd of the home, mother, Earnestine Byrd Wallace and husband Norman of Lillington; 3 daughters, Christy Tickle and husband Justin of Sanford, Amanda Holt and Taylor Byrd; son, Timmy Lemons and wife Courtney of Spring Lake, 2 brothers, Kenny Byrd and wife Bobbie of Lillington, and W.J. Byrd of Lillington; sister, Varonda Byrd Strouth and husband Bryant of Lillington; Grandchildren, 6 grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers memorial may be made to a love offering for Tony Byrd in care of Calvary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1162, Lillington NC 27546 or Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh NC 27607.
