Mr. Tommy Earl Hall, Sr., 90, of Lillington passed away Monday, August 28, 2023, at his home. He was born in Nash County, the son of the late Henry Hall and Carrie Mae Howell Hall. In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his wife, Narvie Johnson Hall; brother, James Henry Hall; sister, Nellie Mae Upchurch. Tommy worked as a truck driver for Winn Dixie and retired after over 35 years of service. He received numerous safe driving awards during his career. After retirement, he enjoyed helping local farmers. Tommy was an avid NASCAR fan who loved anything with a motor that went fast. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family while boating and fishing at Lake Waccamaw.

Tommy is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Sue West and husband Daniel of Spring Lake; 2 sons, Tommy Earl Hall, Jr. and wife Alison of Spout Springs, Winfred Scott Hall of Sanford; grandchildren, Brandon McLamb of the home, Heather Chambers of Texas, Bridgette Hall of Mamers, Thomas Hall of Rocky Mount, Jamie Hall of Vass, Johnathan Hall (Samie Epps) of Spout Springs, Tristan Mahon (Carolyn Mahon) of Sanford, Traci Hall (Shon Brewington) of Goldston; 16 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Ronald Johnson of Lillington; sister-in-law, Joyce Johnson of Broadway; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:50 PM Friday, September 1, 2023, at Harmony Baptist Church in Bunnlevel. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the church with Rev. Tommy Honeycutt and Chaplain Paul Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Union Methodist Church Cemetery.
