Todd Lee Hawthorne, 59, of Lillington died Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Universal Health Care in Lillington. A native of New York, he was the son of the late William Kemp and Ruth Sobeck Hawthorne. Mr. Hawthorne was raised in Woodhaven Queens, NY and spent the majority of his life volunteering in various nursing homes and helping the elderly with daily chores. Todd loved church and was a faithful volunteer at the Lillington Baptist Church.
Memorial Service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Lillington Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Smith officiating.
He is survived by brother, Robert "Bob" Hawthorne and wife Lana of Lillington.
