Mr. T.L. Dean, 89, of Lillington passed away Friday, July 21, 2017. He was born in Harnett County, the son of the late Ernest Lee Dean and Ida McDonald Dean. T.L. was a veteran of the US Army. He worked for Sexton's Department Store, Wilbourne Furniture and Womble's in Lillington for many years. T.L. was a long time member of Fellowship Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stacy Brown Dean; brothers, Cecil, Lexie and Ray Dean.

T.L. is survived by son, Wayne Dean and wife Muriel of Lillington; daughter, Teresa Dean Thomas of the home; 5 grandchildren, Dawn C. Kitchen, Dana R. Thomas, Erica L. Campbell, K. Paige Thomas and Brittany R. Dean; 6 great-grandchildren, Amber, Leah, Jason, Kaylee, Ava, Grayson; brother, James Dean and wife Pat of Lillington.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Lillington with Rev. James Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Harnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday from 1:00-3:00 PM.
