Thomas "Tom" Allen Callaway, 84, of Angier, formerly of Cortland, OH, died Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington, NC.

Thomas was born December 9, 1938 in Portage, OH to the late Harry Edward Callaway and Evelyn Thomas Callaway.  He was owner of TNC Fiberglass Repair in Cortland, OH.  Thomas was an avid reader of history and loved the outdoors.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his son, Aaron Martin Callaway; brothers, Dale and Don Callaway; sisters, Barbara Callaway, Beverly Callaway and Bertina Goff.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 49 years, Nancy Jean Callaway; son, Benjamin Thomas Callaway and wife, Keri; grandchildren, Tristan and Tanner Callaway; step-granddaughter, Breana Flores; nieces, Bridgett, Collette, LaDawn, Laura, and Annette; sister-in-law, Sandy Callaway.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date at Pineview Memorial in Niles, Ohio.
