Mr. Terry Thomas McDonald, 70, of Lillington passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington. He was born in Lee County, the son of the late Ralph and Jean O'Quinn McDonald. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Worth T. Cummings and Nora T. Cummings; sister, Andreia M. Currin. Terry enjoyed the outdoors especially walking at Raven Rock State Park. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Terry was an avid Duke fan. He loved his dogs, Lucy and Allie.

Terry is survived by his wife of 48 years, Shelia Patterson McDonald of the home; son, Brian McDonald and partner Steven Pagden of Lancaster, PA; daughter, Kimberly Morgan and husband Brandon of Broadway; 2 grandchildren, Nora and Maverick; brother, Danny McDonald of Lillington; nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Raven Rock Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. David Priddy officiating. Friends are invited to visit O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 between the hours of 9:00 AM-1:00 PM to pay their respects to Mr. McDonald. The family will not be present during this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Raven Rock Presbyterian Church- in care of Belinda Cummings, 6425 South River Rd., Lillington, NC 27546.
