Tammie Cameron, 64, of Olivia, passed away, Friday, May 26, 2023 at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC.

Tammie was born May 11, 1959 in Lee County to the late Clifton and Hazel Garrett Dean.  She was a 1977 graduate of Boone Trail High School and attended Central Carolina Community College.  Tammie was an active member and volunteer at Crossroads Church in Broadway.  She was a loving wife, mother, mawmaw and sister.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, George "Rip Hawk" Ernest Moore, III, brother, Jasper Lindsey Dean; brother-in-law, Randy Womack; and father-in-law, Max Cameron.

Tammie is survived by her husband, Gary Cameron; daughters, Lindsay Lawson (Justin), and Alisa Lankford (Jordan); son, Chip Moore (Tiffany); sisters, Ann Blakely (Gary), and Debbie Womack; brother, Harold Dean (Brenda); grandchildren, Hannah, Claire, Bentley, Tatum, Reese, Everly, Asher, and Maddi.

A funeral service will be held 11am Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Crossroads Church, 107 Milton Avenue, Broadway, NC 27505.  Burial will follow the service at Olivia Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 6pm – 8pm Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home.
