Mrs. Susan Marie Hamrick went to be with our Lord on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at the age of 65.

Susan was born January 13, 1954 in Webster Springs, West Virginia to Walter & Helen (Comuzie) Griffith, step-daughter of Mary (Johnson) Griffith. She was the beloved wife of Elbert Hamrick for 48 years. Loving mother to two sons, Adam (Mary Ann) and Matthew; treasured Mom-Mom of Katie, Emmy, Nick, Madeline and Lilly; dear sister of Eldridge Griffith, Phoebe Clutter (Rodney) and step-sister of Danna Winebrenner (Larry).

She was preceded in death by parents Helen Griffith, Walter and Mary Griffith, and brothers Timothy, Joseph and John Paul.

She was a graduate of Webster Springs High School class of 1971. She was a long-time member of Solid Rock United Methodist Church and volunteered her services to help those in need, including 5 & 2 Food Pantry.  She took great pride in taking care of her family.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Solid Rock United Methodist Church, located at 2297 NC 24, Cameron, NC 28326, (next-door to her home) on Saturday, October 19th at 3:30 PM - ?
