Susan Ostrander Doby, born July 2, 1963, was a spirited, loving, and unforgettable woman whose presence touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. She passed away on August 8, 2026, after a courageous battle with stage 4 breast cancer.

Susan was a fighter in every sense of the word. Her illness tried many times to bring her down, but she refused to let it define her. She continued to live with strength, determination, and the same spirited personality that made her so special. In November 2025, Susan retired from her career at Sanford Honda so she could spend the remainder of her days living life the best way she could.

Susan had a passion for the beach, motorcycles, and sports cars. Some of her happiest moments were spent riding motorcycles with her husband, Michael, and enjoying the freedom and excitement that came with being behind the wheel of her sports cars. She loved life, adventure, and making memories.

During her years at Sanford Honda, Susan made friends with countless customers. She had a natural ability to connect with people, and the friendships she made there were a testament to the warmth and personality she brought wherever she went.

Susan is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Doby; her mother, Ida Ostrander; her siblings, James Ostrander and his wife Ann, Mary Ostrander and her husband Tim, Norman Ostrander and his wife April, and Adam Ostrander and his wife Nicole; her nieces, Makayla Hengen and Heather Ostrander; and her nephews, Hunter Ostrander, Spencer Ostrander, and Jason Ostrander. She is also survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jerry Doby and Tammy Doby, and their son, Tanner.

Susan will be remembered for her strength, her spirited nature, her love of adventure, and most of all, the love she gave to her family and friends. Though her battle has ended, the memories she created and the lives she touched will remain forever.
