Mrs. Susan Tedder Dickens, 56, of Spring Lake passed away July 13, 2017. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Leo Blanchard Tedder and Mary Kathleen Baker Tedder. Susan worked for Saab Barracuda in Lillington for many years. She was a dedicated and loving mother, as well as grandmother. Susan never met a stranger and always tried to help others before herself. Aside from her various hobbies including her handmade crafts and painting, she devoted her time caring for her precious baby chihuahua, Charlie. She was preceded in death by sisters, Cathy Custer, Karen Clark, Patricia Zulauf and brother, Kenneth Tedder.

Susan is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Cameron and husband Dave of Broadway; son, Lee Lashmit and wife, Jesse of Dunn; 4 grandchildren, Samantha Ferguson and husband, Johnathan of Anderson Creek, Maddie Cameron and Trent Cameron both of Broadway, Emory Lashmit of Dunn; brother, Thomas "Jiggs" Tedder and wife, Brenda of Lillington.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, July 21, 2017 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Chapel with Rev. and Mrs. Roy McLamb officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00-7:00 PM.
