Mrs. Stella O. Thomas, 91 of Broadway died Monday, January 31, 2011 at her home. A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Polly Collins O'Quinn. She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Tillman Thomas, a son-in-law Jessie Norris, 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Mrs. Thomas was an active member of Cool Springs United Methodist Church.

Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 pm Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011 at Cool Springs United Methodist Church, Broadway with Rev. Ramon Atkins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday at O'Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home, other times at the home of Troy Thomas.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her sister Edith Drews and husband Eddie of Fayetteville. Daughters, Faye Stewart and husband Kendall of Broadway, Barbara Norris of Broadway, Glenda Black and husband Charles of Lillington. Sons, Charlie Tillman Thomas of Edenton, Johnnie Thomas and wife Vivian of Hickory, Troy Thomas of Broadway.
