Mrs. Shirley Ann Blalock Wicker, 79, of Lillington, went to be with her Lord on June 17th at Wake Medical Center.

Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Inez Blalock.

Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, William (Billy) Wicker of the home and brother Robert Blalock, Jr. of Spivey's Corner.

Shirley had a love for children which led her to a career with the Harnett County School System as a Teacher's Aide and a Substitute Teacher.  Her favorite class was with Special Needs children.  Her spiritual love for children was teaching them in Sunday School and working with them in Bible Drill.

A graveside service will be held Monday, June 22nd at 1:00 PM at Westview Cemetery.
