Mrs. Shirley L. Johnson, 83, of Angier passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Ronnie Lee and Mallie Mae Lee. Shirley was a member of Summerville Presbyterian Church in Lillington. She owned and operated The Fabric and Needle Craft Shop in Lillington for many years. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Graham Johnson; sisters, Iris Coleman, Grace Gilbert, Maxine Blanchard and Carolyn Messer. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Lynn Bassett and husband Ralph of Southport; 2 grandchildren, Kevin White of Angier and Amy Howe of Southport; great-grandson, Kaelin White of Angier and great-granddaughter, Rayne Carol of Wake Forest; sisters, Laverne Messer of Angier, Delores Ruby Hart of Bunnlevel, Annette Godfrey of Sunset Beach, Brenda Lee of Angier; brother, Terry Lee of Holden Beach; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, February 5, 2018 at Summerville Presbyterian Church in Lillington with Rev. Lee Faircloth officiating.
