Sherry Rene Gerehart, 47 of Linden died Monday, February 8, 2016 at her residence.

Sherry was born April 14, 1968 in VA to Charles Gerehart and the late Charlotte Howard. Sherry was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Gregory Gerehart and David Goshern; and her step-father, Edgar Howard.

Sherry loved spending time with her grand babies. She had many talents which included painting, sculpting and playing the piano. She enjoyed taking rides on her Harley. Sherry cherished all animals.

Sherry is survived by 2 daughters, Tracey Linton and husband Austin and Alyssia Linton fiance Joshua both of Lillington; son, John Lane and wife Crystal of Linden; 4 sisters, Angie Gere of New Mexico, twin-Cindy Heyborne and husband Sam of Wake Forest, Linda Winn and husband Joe of Fuquay-Varina, Tracy Bowling and husband Chris of Holly Springs; a brother, Tony Gerehart of Yorktown, VA; 6 grandchildren, Karli, Ryan, Grayson, Tylor, Aubrey and Gabriel.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 P.M. Monday, February 15, 2016 at Rawls Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
