Mr. Sherrill Webb, 77, of Mamers passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at his home. He was born in Harnett County, the son of the Shelton and Mamie Webb. He was a member of Cool Springs United Methodist Church and a US Navy veteran. Sherrill enjoyed fishing, hunting and bird watching. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Dalanie Webb.

Sherrill is survived by his wife of 55 years, Starr Freeman Webb of the home; son, Speedy Webb of Mamers, daughter, Sherry Elliott and husband Jerry of Sanford, Sonya Webb and Tony of Mamers, daughter, Brandy Lee Thomas and husband Mark of Mamers; 10 grandchildren, Brian Godfrey, Ashley Godfrey, Hutchens, Keith Webb, Brandon Webb, Luke Thomas, Brittney Holland, Wyatt Holt, Caden Smith, Macey Thomas and Case Thomas; sister, Patsy Webb Farley and husband Don of Angier.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 29, 2016 at Cool Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ramon Atkins officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall.
