Sherlyn Gray Bagwell Ashworth, 67, of Cameron, NC passed away Friday March 11, 2022, at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford.

She was born August 26, 1954, in Raleigh, NC to the late Lois Tippet Bagwell and Sherwood Bagwell.

Sherlyn loved to travel, see new places, and spend time on the road with her fiancé, Dave "Bernie" Burns. She was a true people person who never met a stranger. Sherlyn was one of a kind with an energetic personality. She was an excellent cook and loved to make meals for her family and friends. Most of all, she cherished the memories shared with her beloved family.

She is survived by her fiancé, Dave "Bernie" Burns; her daughter, Rhonda Ashworth; her sons, Jamie Ashworth, Jeremy Ashworth, and Kirk Ashworth; her grandchildren, Wade Anderson, Karlee Anderson, Trever Ashworth, Shelby Ashworth, and Jessie Ashworh; her great-granddaughter Braelyn Anderson; her sisters, Faye Johnson and Ramona Lloyd; her brother, David Fields; and her loving grand dog and companion, Sparky Ashworth.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
