Obituary

Sheila Louise Albritton, 63, of Lillington, passed away on June 7, 2022, after a long battle with Melanoma.

Sheila was born on July 10, 1958, to Elliott (Gil) and Marilyn Ryerson in Suffern, NY.

In 1977, Sheila met Robert "Hy" Albritton in Fayetteville, NC. Sheila and Robert were married for 44 years and went on to have two children, Rob, and Ryan. Additionally, Sheila and Robert have three lovely grandchildren: Carson, Harper, and Nolan.

A dedicated loving mother and wife, Sheila was also a devoted lover of animals and pets. Through all the surgeries and treatments over a fourteen-year period, Sheila always kept a positive attitude and cared about others more than herself. She will be sorely missed by all her family and friends. A kind and lovely angel on earth, she will be a welcome addition to the angels in heaven.

Sheila was predeceased by her dad, Gil. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Robert, her sons Rob and Ryan along with three grandchildren, her mom Marilyn Shane and her brother Gil.

A memorial service will be held Saturday June 25 at 2PM at O'Quinn Peebles Phillips Funeral Home, 1310 S. Main Street in Lillington with Chaplain Randy Beasley officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Fayetteville Animal Protection Society (FAPS), an organization Sheila felt strongly about supporting. Donations can be made by mail to 3927 Bragg Blvd. Fayetteville, NC 28303 or online at https://www.fapspet.org/donate .
