Sharon Elizabeth Johnson Williamson, 72 of Fuquay-Varina died Friday, April 1, 2016 at her home.

Sharon was born November 26, 1943 in Ennis TX to the late James David Johnson and Mabel Cossman Johnson. She was preceded in death by her siblings.

Sharon was greatly loved by her family, friends and her church family at Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church. She achieved many great things in her life-long work as a substance abuse counselor. She was an active member of A.A. since 1980. She loved to garden, crochet and read. She enjoyed riding her golf cart. She loved to travel.

Sharon was survived by her fiancé Durward Puryear; 4 daughters, JoNell Choplin, Lisa Smart, Robin Deal and husband Gerald and Kristy Reeves and husband Chris; 15 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 8, 2016 at Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Cockrell officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M. Friday at the church.
