Mrs. Sharon Wagner Hodge, 77, of Broadway passed away March 3, 2020 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. She was born in Chevrolet, KY the daughter of the late Paul and Iona Wagner. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, John Paul and Stanley Wagner. Sharon moved to Detroit, MI in 1960 and retired to Broadway, NC in 1999. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Mamers.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 60 years, Billy Hodge of the home; daughters, Debbie O'Quinn and husband Frankie of Lillington and Marilyn Hodge of Carthage; son, Billy Hodge, Jr. of Broadway; grandchildren, Eddie Burgess and wife Catherine, Andrew Burgess and wife Vanessa, Amber O'Quinn, Tori Weaver and husband Zack, Haley Hahn and husband Chris, Joshua Hodge; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Quinn, Waylon and Ashton; Siblings, Nancy Moss, Lagretta Ballou, Benny Wagner, Mildred Hodge, Mona Wadsworth, Pat Parker, Robert Wagner and Richard Wagner; many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Friday March 6, 2020 at Antioch Baptist Church in Mamers with Rev. Scott Yow officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 11:00-11:45 AM and other times at the home of Debbie and Frankie O'Quinn.
