Scotty "Rock" Mason, 43 of Sanford died Saturday, July 10, 2010 at UNC Memorial Hospitals in Chapel Hill. Scotty was a native of Lee County and worked at Champion Mobile Homes and General Shale in Sanford.

Scotty is survived by his daughters: Brandy Dover and husband Charles of Autryville; and Jessica Mason of Puerto Rico. Parents: Steve and Barbara Baker Mason of Sanford. Brother: Rodney Mason of South Hill, Va.; 2 nieces: Brittany and Brooke Mason of South Hill, Va.; Granddaughter: Skylar Mason

Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 pm Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Baptist Chapel Baptist Church in Broadway with Rev. Alex Smith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 pm Monday at Oâ
