Mr. Scott D. Byrd, 49, of Lillington died Saturday, July 23, 2011. He was born in Harnett County, the son of J.D. and Jean Williams Byrd.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Antioch Baptist Church in Mamers with Rev. Dan Deaton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at O'Quinn-Peebles Monday, July 25, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 PM.

He is survived by two sons, Randall Scott Byrd and wife Jamie of Lillington and Johnathan Dillon Byrd of Lillington, daughter, Ashley Renee' Byrd of Lillington, parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.D.
