Sandra Eatmon Price, age 67, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2014, after a 3 year battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Rocky Mount on March 16, 1947. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Virginia Eatmon. She attended Williford School, graduated from Benvenue High School and studied art at UNC- Greensboro.

Sandra always enjoyed music, especially Elvis. She also enjoyed decorating, photography and window coverings . Her favorite past time, however, was caring for her family, home and garden.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Chuck Price; one daughter, Stacy Bennington of Erwin (husband Andrew), and their four children Jacob, Alaina, Evelyn and Marshall; one son Brian Price of Lockhart TX (wife Monique) and their three children Hayden, Scarlett and Ruby. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Joe Eatmon of Wingate (wife Patti) and Alan Eatmon of Raleigh (wife Martha) and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday September 21, 2014 at 3:00 pm at The Gospel Tabernacle in Dunn, NC. Visitation will be prior to the memorial service at 2:00 pm at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gospel Tabernacle Church in Dunn or Transitions Life Care in Wake County.
