Ruby Brown Nordan 84 of Lillington died Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Betsy Johnson Hospital. She was born in Harnett County, The daughter of the late Challie and Christine Cox Brown. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Carlie T. Nordan; sisters, Nadine Griffin and Jackie Stone; brother, Angus Brown. Mrs. Nordan was a dedicated member of Calvary Baptist Church.


Funeral Service will be conducted 11:00am Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Robbie O'Quinn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will recieve friends at O'Quinn-Peebles funeral home Friday from 6:00-8:00pm.


Mrs. Nordan is survived by sons, Gerald Nordan of Lillington; Christopher Nordan and wife Jan of Lillington; grandsons, Joshua Nordan of Lillington; Jason Nordan of Fayetteville; Brandon Nordan and wife Felicia of Linden sisters, Mamie Jo Darroch of Lillington; brothers, Mack, Dale, Robin Brown all of Lillington and special friend Iris McDonald.
