Mr. Roy R. Ellis, 70 of Lillington died Friday, July 8, 2011 at his home. A life long resident of Harnett County, he was the son of the late Larry Junion and Mary Butler Ellis. Mr. Ellis was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Lee Ellis; 3 sons, Ronnie, LeRoy and Wayne Ellis; brother, Jack Ellis and a twin brother, Troy Ellis. He was self employed as a painter for his entire life.

He is survived by a sister,Vila Ellis Michaels of Mamers; Brother,Billy Ellis of Bunnlevel; granddaughter, Ashley Ellis; Many nieces and nephews.
