Mr. Ross Brown, age 76, of Mamers, NC, passed away on August 3, 2020, at Central Harnett Hospital.

Ross was born in Harnett County on February 20, 1944, to the late Oris and Algie Spence Brown.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Doralene Knight, Gaynelle Hudson, Trilby Batchelor, and Katrina Tankersley.

Ross is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ida Kelly Brown; daughter, Lorri Westover of Mamers, NC; sons, Chris Brown and wife Elizabeth of Cameron, NC, and Ryan Brown of Mamers, NC, and fiancé Misty Bjers of Lexington, NC; sister, Barbara Koepp of Broadway, NC; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ross was a lifelong resident of the Mamers area and member of Antioch Baptist Church.  He attended Boone Trail High School and retired from Wilkinson Cadillac & Olds in Sanford, NC.  Ross was known for basketball playing, having good gardens and sharing his produce with his neighbors.

A service will be held at a later date.
