Mrs. Rosie P. Bailey, 87 of Broadway died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010 at E. Carlton Powell Hospice Center in Lillington. A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Malcolm James Archie and Martha Susan Douglas Patterson and was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James "Jack" Bailey. Mrs. Bailey was an active life long member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday,Dec. 7, 2010 at Holly Springs Baptist Church, Broadway with Rev. Jerry Parsons officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church sanctuary, other times at Mrs. Bailey's home.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by her daughter, Joyce Thomas and husband Larry of Broadway; Sons: Jimmy Bailey and wife Judy of Broadway, Jerry Bailey and wife Faye of Broadway. 4 grandchildren: Jeffrey Bailey and wife Carla, Denise Whitfield and husband Chris, Tammy Baker and Cindy Harrington all of Broadway. 5 Great grandchildren
