Rosa Mae Honeycutt, 85 of Lillington passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.

Rosa was born March 13, 1929 to the late Hurman and Rosa Johnson Matthews. Rosa was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert "Bob" Haire and William "Kermit" Honeycutt.

Rosa is survived by a son, Robert Lee Haire and Kay Payne of Lillington; a daughter, Shannon Pope and husband Tim of Coats; 4 sisters, Mary Wilson and Sarah Gale of Fayetteville, Betty Holder of Lillington and Vicky Dean and husband Benny of Crumpler; 4 grandchildren, 1 great grand child and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 12:00 Noon Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Harnett Memorial Park with Dr. Joan Hall officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00-11:45 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home & Crematory.
