Mr. Ronald Blake Roy Sr., 68, of Lillington, went home to be with the Lord, on Friday, July 6, 2018.

Ronald was a pastor in the Harnett County area for a number of years.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July10, 2018 at 11 am at Barbecue Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Ron is survived by his wife of 49 years, Bonna Whiteman Roy; 2 sons, Ronald B. Roy Jr. and wife Jennifer of Fayetteville and Michael Shawn Roy of Broadway; 5 grandchildren, Michael Shawn Roy II., Katherine Jolie Roy, Samantha Danielle Roy, Megan Riley Roy and Joshua Matthew Roy; brother, Roger Roy and sister, Maxine Varney both of Elkins, WV.; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm at O'Quinn Peebles Phillips Funeral Home.
